Purcari
Purcari winery is situated in Purcari village on the Nistru river bank. In 1878, the wine Negru de Purcari, from the small unknown Moldovan village of Purcari, won the Golden Medal of the Paris World Exhibition. In 2003, the old cellars built in 1827 were renovated and are now used to store the wine.
At Purcari winery, you can taste the wine and try traditional Moldovan food. You can also fish and have your catched fish cooked for you and served right at the lake. At Chateau Purcari you can also enjoy a game of tennis and billiard.
