Trains Servicing Moldova
If you decide to travel by train, be sure to buy your ticket ahead of time. Each person is allowed to carry no more than 36 kgs (80 lbs) as luggage.
There are direct and transit routes to and from the main cities of the Russian Federation (Moscow, St-Petersburg, Saratov), Ukraine (Kiev, Odessa, Ivano-Frankovsk, Simferopol, Reni), Byelorussia (Minsk), Romania (Bucharest, Constanta), and Bulgaria (Sofia, Varna, Burgas).
There is only one rail station in Chisinau.
